BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Reza Faieghi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).

Before joining TMU in 2020, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute from 2019 to 2020. He received his PhD in biomedical engineering from The University of Western Ontario in 2018.

Dr. Faieghi’s research group at TMU primarily focuses on the applications of robotics, artificial intelligence and virtual reality on aerospace systems. However, he also investigates the application of these technologies in other domains, especially in healthcare settings.

From 2020 to 2022, he served as an Associate Editor for the journal of Biomedical Engineering Online.

Dr. Faieghi is an affiliate scientist with iBEST, a member of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, and the IEEE Control System Society.
